Nice/Cannes transport:

Train

For an economic way of getting there: walk from Nice airport to train station Nice St. Augustin and from there take the train and get off at Cannes la Bocca station which is a small platform station 500 metres from the apartment. Optionally take the train with end station Grasse and get off at Le Bosquet which is also in close walking distance. It's an apx. 15 minutes walk from the airport to St. Augustin. How to get there and the departure times see here: It's apx. a 40 minutes train ride and an apx. 5 minutes walk from La Bocca station or Le Bosquet station to the apartment. More info at www.sncf.fr but in French however. You may also use same 2 optional train stations to get from the apartment to down-town Cannes, Nice or Monaco or Marseille. The way from the apartment to la Bocca station: You walk along the Avenue du Raimond Picaud and walk down the rue Louis Armand. Please consult viamichelin, type the address 6, rue de la Verrerie, 06150 Cannes la Bocca and you can see a symbol of the train station. The address of the Le Bosquet station is rue Joseph Flory. Bus Service

"Rapides Cote d'Azur" is a rapid (45 minutes) and reasonably-priced (apx. 14 euros per person each way) bus service that links Nice Cote d'Azur airport with Cannes bus station. Departs from Nice Cote d'Azur Airport every hour from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm and leaves the bus station every 30 minutes for the Nice Cote d'Azur Airport from 7.00 am to 8.00 pm. Then you may take a taxi from the bus station to the apartment. Or take public bus 1, 2 or 20 to la Bocca, get off opposite Ibis Hotel, then walk 5 minutes.

The most economic way is to take bus 200 from airport (terminal 1 bus station) to Cannes, however, it takes 1.5 hours. Get off at Hotel de Ville, change to bus 1 or 2 to Mairie Annexe (opposite Ibis Hotel). Total price 1€ (including transit).

Taxis

From Nice Airport to Cannes: Estimated fare of apx. Euro 90 each way . Your trip will take around 30 minutes.

PS: Renting a car is not that much more for a whole week than using above taxi however it is recommended that one should be an experienced driver and it is recommended to hire underground parking with us, see more under Prices.

Travel guidance by car:

Get off highway 8 at sign no. 41 "Cannes La Bocca", follow the signs direction Cannes. In a roundabout you will see a small white airplane as a statue on a piedestal, there you turn right, drive straight ahead for a couple of minutes along the road Avenue Francis Tonner. Turn right in a red light cross where you see a sign with "bord de mer" (seaside) and have a real estate agency on each side, Century 21 to your left and Cannes Horizon to your right. (PS ignore a minor Cannes Horizon shop window that comes earlier on same street). Once turned right, drive straight some 100 metres and you will find - just before a tunnel takes you under the train and to the beach road - a brown building on your right with the words "Maeva" (formerly known as Pierre & Vacances). Access to the under ground parking is to the right of the stairs to the reception entrance for those who have rented parking with us.
